손석구, 로맨스 도전?!..'이 사랑 통역 되나요?' 주연 물망 "긍정 검토"

[KtN 신미희기자] 배우 손석구가 홍자매 작가의 신작 드라마 '이 사랑 통역 되나요?'에 출연에 물망에 올랐다.

13일 손석구의 소속사 샛별당엔터테인먼트 관계자는 "손석구 씨가 '이 사랑 통역 되나요?' 출연을 제안받고 긍정 검토 중"이라고 밝혔다.

'이 사랑 통역 되나요?'는 '최고의 사랑', '호텔 델루나', '환혼' 등을 집필한 '홍자매' 홍정은·홍미란 작가의 신작으로, '붉은 단심' 유영은 감독이 메가폰을 잡는다.

드라마는 다른 언어를 통역하는 직업을 가진 여자가 자신과 완전히 반대 방식으로 사랑을 말하는 남자를 만나 잘못 알아듣고 반대로 알아들으며 서로를 이해하는 속 터지는 로맨스를 다룬다. 

손석구는 극 중 동시통역사 주호진 역할을 제안받은 것으로 전해졌다.

한편 지난 해 영화 '범죄도시2'와 JTBC 드라마 '나의 해방일지', 디즈니+ '카지노' 등에 출연해 호평을 얻었던 손석구는 현재 범죄 액션 영화 '댓글부대'를 촬영 중이다.

 또한 드라마 'D.P.2'와 '살인자ㅇ난감' 등에 출연 예정이다.
